On Mondays to Saturdays Richmond and Leyburn are linked by Dales & District service 159 running approximately hourly in the daytime. Every other journey continues to Ripon, via Middleham, Jervaulx Abbey and Masham.
During the summer months Eastern Dalesman service 821 also operates on Sundays and Bank Holidays between Ripon, Leyburn and Aysgarth, via Lightwater Valley Lane End, Masham, Jervaulx Abbey and Middleham.
Connections are available at Leyburn to and from Hawes and Bedale on services 156 and 157 (Monday to Saturday) and service 856 (Sundays and Bank Holidays).
