The Dales Experience Bus provided easy access to the Yorkshire Dales from the Huddersfield and Bradford areas in Summer 2007. It was provided by the Yorkshire Dales Society and the Yorkshire Dales Public Transport Users Group with funding from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority's Sustainable Development Fund.
This service has now finished for the 2007 season. We hope to be able to provide a similar service in Summer 2008, but this is dependent on obtaining sufficient funding. Details will be posted here when available.

Limited stop arrangements apply between Huddersfield and Ilkley as follows:
Service 814 stops only at the following points: Huddersfield Bus Station, Fartown Cleaners, Brighouse Station, Brighouse Ritz, Bailiff Bridge, Manchester Road at Carr Bottom Road Post Office, Manchester Road at Marsh Street, Bradford Interchange, Westgate Stop W1, Manningham Lane at Oak Lane, Shipley Market Place, Roundwood Road, Southway, White Cross Bradford Road, Menston Bradford Road at Station Road, Burley Station Road, Ilkley Bus Station Stand C, Brook Street and then at all bus stops to Malham, Buck Inn.
Note - this service does not operate via Draughton or Gargrave Square.
