The Wensleydale Post Bus will no longer operate after Friday 28th October 2011. Additional community transport facilities will however be provided for essential journeys.

People who need to make an essential journey, for example, for a hospital appointment, a job interview or a key educational opportunity, and are unable to use scheduled bus services 156/157 or 59/X59,  should contact Upper Wensleydale Community Office in the first instance.  The additional community transport travel opportunities will be provided by The Little White Bus and Reeth & District Ring to Ride, and will be co-ordinated from the Upper Wensleydale Community Office.

Enquiries and bookings can be made by telephoning the Upper Wensleydale Community Office on 01969 667400 during its opening hours Monday to Friday between 10:00 to 4:00 pm  (6:00 pm  on Tuesday and Thursday), or by email uwco@btconnect.com  Bookings must be made 24 hours before travel and intending passengers are requested to give as much notice as possible.
