Due to a road closure between Bentham and Ingleton DalesBus 80 will be diverted on 6th, 13th and 20th June, and will not call at Rivers Edge Park.
The road between Hawes and Ribblehead has now reopened, so DalesBus 80 is now running on the usual route to Ribblehead and Hawes again.
DalesBus 80 connects Lancaster, Hornby, Bentham, Ingleton, Ribblehead Station and Hawes on Saturdays throughout the summer.
Great for sightseeing, shopping and exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
DalesBus 80 connects at Ribblehead Station with the Yorkshire Dales Explorer train from Rochdale, Manchester, Blackburn, Clitheroe and Settle.
Ribblehead Viaduct is an iconic location in the Yorkshire Dales, with a visitor centre at Ribblehead Station (due to reopen 22nd April 2026) and the popular Station Inn pub. It is a good starting point for walks in the Three Peaks, including Ingleborough and Whernside.
Hawes is home to the Dales Countryside Museum and Wensleydale Creamery, with a shop, restaurant and visitor centre demonstrating cheesemaking. Hardraw Force, England’s highest single drop above ground waterfall, is just over a mile’s easy walk away along the Pennine Way at the Green Dragon Inn in Hardraw
There’s no need to book in advance, tickets are available from the driver, so you can simply turn up and go!
All single fares cost no more than £3 (£1 for under 19s).
Concessionary bus passes for the elderly and disabled are valid for free travel on DalesBus 80.
