to the Washburn Valley, Pateley Bridge, Fountains Abbey and Ripon.
There’s no need to book in advance, tickets are available from the driver, so you can simply turn up and go!
Dales Rover tickets and ENCTS elderly/disabled bus passes are valid.
From Otley DalesBus 820 passes Lindley Wood Reservoir before climbing over Norwood Edge and passing The Sun Inn, Menwith Hill and The Wellington Inn
on it’s way to Pateley Bridge. It then continues past Fellbeck to the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal and the historic City of Ripon.
Pateley Bridge is the perfect base to explore Upper Nidderdale. There are cafés, pubs, boutique shops, galleries, a small park and beautiful riverside walks, and the outstanding Nidderdale Museum. Or plan a longer hike along the Nidderdale Way or Six Dales Trail.
