Metro ENCTS Winter Offer 2023

Northern have introduced a flat fare winter offer on the Leeds - Settle - Carlisle and Leeds – Morecambe lines for Metro (West Yorkshire Combined Authority) issued ENCTS (elderly & disabled) pass holders .

This is a Day Ranger ticket covering both the Settle & Carlisle Line (Leeds / Bradford Forster Square – Carlisle via Settle) and the Bentham line (Leeds – Morecambe via Bentham).

The offer is available as follows:

• Holders of a valid Metro (WYCA) issued ENCTS Passes (Elderly or Disabled) can purchase a Day Ranger for £14.00 and can be accompanied by up to four children for a flat fare of £7.00 each.
  
  
• Stations included; Leeds, Kirkstall Forge, Apperley Bridge, Bradford Forster Square, Frizinghall, Shipley, Crossflatts, Bingley, Saltaire, Keighley, Steeton & Silsden, Cononley, Skipton, Gargrave, Hellifield, Long Preston, Giggleswick, Clapham (North Yorkshire), Bentham, Wennington, Carnforth, Lancaster, Bare Lane, Morecambe, Heysham Port, Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Ribblehead, Dent, Garsdale, Kirkby Stephen, Appleby, Langwathby, Lazonby & Kirkoswald, Armathwaite and Carlisle.
  
  
• Dates available:  Monday 9th January 2023 – Saturday 1st April 2023 inclusive.
  
  
• Availability: On all trains except for the 0549 Carlisle – Leeds via Settle and 0648 Lancaster – Leeds via Bentham services Mondays to Fridays, valid all-day weekends.

Note:

• Customers can break their journey at any point within the validity area of the Day Ranger ticket.
• Customers must have a valid Metro (WYCA) issued ENCTS (elderly or disabled) pass to take up this offer.
• These tickets can only be purchased at staffed station ticket offices or from conductors on train when boarding at unstaffed stations or where the ticket office is closed. Where ticket vending machines are available, customers must obtain a ‘Promise to Pay’ ticket and exchange this with the conductor. These tickets are not available to purchase online or through ticket vending machines.
