Nidderdale DalesBus services 820 and 821 will restart for the summer season on Sunday 3rd May, with Nidderdale DalesBus 820 extending to Fountains Abbey and Ripon this year, running every Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday through until 18th October.
Nidderdale DalesBus 820 will run from Bradford and Shipley, via Otley, Lindley Wood Reservoir, The Sun Inn, Darley and Summerbridge to Pateley Bridge, continuing via Fellbeck to Fountains Abbey Visitor Centre and Ripon. Buses will leave Bradford Interchange at 0910, Shipley Market Place at 0925 and Otley Bus Station at 0955 and 1505, returning from Ripon at 1145 to Otley and 1635 to Bradford. Nidderdale DalesBus 821 will run from Keighley, Bingley and Shipley via Otley, Swinsty Reservoir, Fewston village, The Sun Inn, Darley and Summerbridge to Pateley Bridge, continuing past Wath and Gouthwaite Reservoir to Ramsgill, Lofthouse and Scar House Reservoir in Upper Nidderdale. Buses will leave Keighley Bus Station at 0925, Shipley Market Place at 0950 and Otley Bus Station at 1020 and 1415, returning from Scar House Reservoir at 1240 to Otley and 1550 to Keighley. Return buses to Otley leave from Pateley Bridge at 1230, 1320, 1630 and 1720. Due to planned roadworks in the Blubberhouses area these buses will not run via Blubberhouses or Greenhow Hill this year, but DalesBus 821 will connect in Pateley Bridge with DalesBus 822 to Coldstones Cut, Greenhow, Hebden and Grassington.
