Summer Weekend DalesBus Services

Most bus services in the Yorkshire Dales area run all-year round, but many Sunday DalesBus services only operate during the Summer months.

The full summer DalesBus network will be running again this year, with some minor changes to provide more opportunities to explore the Yorkshire Dales:

• Northern DalesBus 832 will now run from Hawes (with connections from DalesBus services 831 and 875) to Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale.
• Nidderdale DalesBus 820 from Bradford will continue past Pateley Bridge to Fountains Abbey and Ripon, and will be run with a larger bus.
• ENCTS concessionary bus passes for the elderly and disabled will be valid for free travel on all DalesBus services

The following Saturday DalesBus service will start for the Summer season on 4th April 2026:

• DalesBus 80: Lancaster - Ingleton - Ribblehead - Hawes

The following Sunday DalesBus services will start for the Summer season on 5th April 2026:

• ​DalesBus 822: Pocklington - York - Ripon - Fountains Abbey - Pateley Bridge - Grassington
• Eastern DalesBus 825: York - Harrogate - Brimham Rocks - Fountains Abbey - Masham - Leyburn - Richmond 
• Northern DalesBus 830: Ribblehead - Hawes - Reeth - Richmond  
• Northern DalesBus 831: Middlesbrough - Darlington - Richmond - Reeth - Hawes 
• Northern DalesBus 832: Hawes - Sedbergh - Kirkby Lonsdale
• Wensleydale Explorer Bus 857: Garsdale Station - Hawes - Castle Bolton​  
• Northern DalesBus 858: Darlington - Richmond - Catterick - Hawes - Ribblehead  
• Eastern DalesBus 859: Richmond - Leyburn  
• Cravenlink 866:  Keighley - Skipton - Malham
• Wharfedale DalesBus 875:  York - Leeds - Horsforth - Ilkley - Cracoe - Grassington - Kettlewell - Buckden - Aysgarth - Hawes
• Wharfedale DalesBus 876:  Leeds - Horsforth - Ilkley - Cracoe - Grassington - Kettlewell - Buckden - Aysgarth - Hawes

The following Sunday DalesBus services will start for the Summer season on 3rd May 2026:

• Nidderdale DalesBus 820: Bradford - Shipley - Otley - Washburn Valley - Pateley Bridge - Fountains Abbey - Ripon
• Nidderdale DalesBus 821: Keighley - Shipley - Otley - Washburn Valley - Pateley Bridge - Ramsgill - Lofthouse - Scar House​
