The A6131 road in Skipton between The Bailey and Skipton by-pass is scheduled to be closed
between 6th September and 15th November 2024 for Northern Powergrid cable-laying work.
Cravenlink bus 864 will divert via Newmarket Street and Otley Road,
and will not call at Skipton High Street, The Bailey, Embsay Road Junction or Overdale Park.
Cravenlink bus 873 will not be affected, and will continue to follow the usual route via The Bailey.
All single fares are just £2 (£1 for under 19s).
The service is really easy to use .. there's no need to book in advance, and the bus stops at all bus stops.
Dales Rovers, MCards (loaded with a weekly or longer period ticket), One Way £1 tickets for young people and ENCTS passes for the elderly and disabled are all valid throughout these services.
Dales Rambler (train+bus) tickets are only valif between Ilkley and Malham.
West Yorkshire Plus tickets are only valid between Ilkley and Skipton.
Cravenlink services 864, 866 and 873 are operated by the Keighley Bus Company (01535 603284),
as part of the DalesBus network managed by Dales and Bowland Community Interest Company
with financial support from Metro, Sovereign Health Care, North Yorkshire Council, Craven Communities Together Partnership
and Kirkby Malhamdale Parish Council.
