Nidderdale National Landscape borders the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the east and south, including the attractive small towns of Pateley Bridge and Masham.
Harrogate Bus Company route 24 runs daily all year between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge throughout the day.
On Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays (starting on 20th April 2025) additional buses run into and around Nidderdale as part of the DalesBus network on the following routes:
On the eastern side of Nidderdale National Landscape Masham is served by service 159 running between Ripon, Masham, Middleham, Leyburn and Richmond on Mondays to Saturdays. Fountains Abbey and many of the villages towards the east of Nidderdale National Landscape are served by Dales & District buses 138 and 139.
DalesBus 59 provides a service to Blubberhouses from Harrogate and Skipton on Saturdays.
A market-day minibus service runs from Pateley Bridge to Ripon on the first Thursday of each month, provided by Nidderdale Plus - for details and to book call 01423 714953.
