On Sunday 8th September, due to road closures for the Long Course Weekend, the outward journey on DalesBus 825 towards Richmond will divert between Fountains Abbey and Masham via Ripon (stopping on North Street) and will not call at Galphay, Kirkby Malzeard, Grewelthorpe or Hackfall Woods. At Fountains Abbey the bus will stop at the end of the driveway on the B6265 road. At Masham the bus will stop on The Avenue not in the Market Place. The return journey to York will run normally.
On Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the summer Eastern DalesBus 825 runs from York via Knaresborough and Harrogate to the fantastic wind-carved crags of Brimham Rocks - a paradise for children (free entry; small visitor centre and refreshments available), Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, Kirkby Malzeard, Hackfall, Masham, Jervaulx Abbey, Middleham, Leyburn and Richmond.
Single tickets for any journey are just £2.
There’s no need to book in advance, tickets are available from the driver, so you can simply turn up and go.
Under 19’s travel for just £1 per single journey (proof of age required by teenagers).
Concessionary bus passes for the elderly and disabled are not valid for free travel on DalesBus 825,
