This website is designed to help you get around the Yorkshire Dales area (including the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) using public transport.

Single fares cost no more than £2 per journey on most scheduled bus services in the Yorkshire Dales until 31st October 2023.

There are many bus services within the Yorkshire Dales which run throughout the year (click here for a list), these are supplemented by extra DalesBus services during the Summer period, which mainly operate on Sundays and Bank Holidays from April/May until mid-October.

The famous Leeds - Settle - Carlisle Railway also passes through the Yorkshire Dales area, with several journeys daily throughout the year. There are also good rail links to several access points to the Yorkshire Dales.
