Western Dales Bus

Western Dales Bus operates the following minibus services from 31st March 2025:

• Kendal Shuttle S1 between Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh and Kendal (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
• Kendal Shuttle S1 between Dent, Sedbergh and Kendal (Wednesdays)
• Kendal Shuttle S1 between Dent Station, Dent, Sedbergh and Kendal (Saturdays)
• Kirkby Stephen Shopper S5 between Sedbergh, Kirkby Stephen and Kendal (Fridays)

The bus can be boarded or alighted from at any place it is safe to stop. Please give a clear indication to the driver.

Major changes to bus services in the Westmorland Dales area from 31st March 2025:

• Kendal Shuttle service S1 is increased to include:

                - buses between Kendal and Sedbergh on Mondays and Fridays, run by Westmorland & Furness Council
                - buses between Kendal, Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, run by Western Dales Bus
                - buses between Kendal, Sedbergh and Dent on Wednesdays, run by Western Dales Bus 
                - buses between Kendal, Sedbergh, Dent and Dent Station on Saturdays, run by Western Dales Bus

• Eden Explorer service S6 is replaced by expanded services S1 and 563.
