Bus Timetable Changes - April 2024

There will be several changes to bus services in the Yorkshire Dales area from 8th April 2024 following retendering of services by North Yorkshire Council.

• Service 11 between Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Settle and Tosside will be extended to run to/from Slaidburn and Clitheroe on Monday to Saturday with an increased timetable. It will be operated by 21 Transport in place of North Yorkshire Council. Note that the timetable has been revised since first publication to improve train connections at Clitheroe Interchange.
• Service 24 between Harrogate and Pateley Bridge will have a slightly revised timetable daily to improve reliability.
• ​Service 64 between Ilkley and Skipton will be improved to operate hourly throughout the day on Monday to Saturday.
• Service 72 between Skipton and Grassington will have an increased service on Monday to Saturday, with most journeys calling at Skipton Rail Station. The Sunday service continues unchanged.
• Service 72B between Skipton and Buckden will have a revised timetable. 
• On  Monday/Wednesday/Friday service 74A between Grassington and Ilkley, the 1705 journey from Grassington to Ilkley will run 15 minutes earlier at 1650.
• Additional journeys will run on Garsdale Station Shuttle service 113 on Monday to Saturday at 1140 & 1415 from Gayle and at 1225 & 1455 from Garsdale.  
• Service 155 between Bedale and Leyburn will be run by Hodgsons Coaches, in place of North Yorkshire Council, but the timetable will continue unchanged.
• Little White Bus service 156 between Hawes, Leyburn and Catterick will have some minor timing changes.
• Service 159 between Ripon, Leyburn and Richmond will be run by Hodgsons Coaches, in place of Dales & District, but the timetable will continue unchanged.
• Service 582, the Wednesday-only link between Bentham and Hornby will be run by Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire, in place of North Yorkshire Council, but the timetable will continue unchanged.
• The North Craven Village Bus (service DR06) will be run by 21 Transport in place of North Yorkshire Council.
